Stars a massage sounds nice

Yesterday was quiet, which was good given how busy Christmas Eve was

Went out bird watching in the morning.  Then came home and made waffles and bacon.  Watched On the Town, White Christmas and A Charlie Brown Christmas.  Generally took it easy

Today hoping work won't be too busy, although I have another coworker who will be off until the new year

Will be unusually warm today, think it will be in the 40s

Hello and Happy Boxing Day!

Joe, sounds like a good day.

Yesterday we opened our (all of two each, LOL!) presents, then had a Zoom call with the ds's.  Then we readied ourselves and picked up oldest ds and went for some Vietnamese pho soup.  Had a nice post-Zoom call visit, LOL!  Then took it easy the rest of the day.  All in all, a nice Christmas. 

We have not much planned for these next couple days, and going into the weekend.

Happy Boxing Day!

Joe, I love On the Town. Well, come to think of it, I love *all* those movies. 

We had 1-2 presents each, too, and our stockings were stuffed with candy (and lip balm). And our traditional orange. We had a zoom call with stepdaughter, whose littles were busy with their new video gaming stuff. Talked with stepson, who was still feeling sick with the flu. I did not call my brother or sister (notably, neither called me either) in part because I got reminded that the hospital was serving as the greeters for the town's drive-through Christmas lights out at the lake that evening so I went out there to help. They didn't really need me but the more the merrier I guess. I did not have to work med/surg (yay). Never did decorate the tree other than an ornament I found on the floor from when the guys dug out the stockings. I stuck it on the tree (it is an owl. I've been trying to collect some wildlife ornaments and intend to have a little tree decorated with wildlife each year). Twin A went to work after Christmas dinner. My car keys and bank card are AWOL. I suspect Gma may be involved.

Looking back on it, maybe one reason I loved Christmas was because I had uncomplicated time off. I went from being a student with a long break between semesters to working for GM which shut down between Christmas and New Years' (thank you, UAW). Then I became a nurse and time off at Christmas is not a thing. One of these years, though, I'm going to arrange to have some time off at the holiday. Or maybe I'll just retire (LOL).

LOL. Hubs just brought my keys. I was right to suspect Gma. She had gotten into the box of Christmas ornaments, removed some lights from the box they were in, and placed the keys in the box. How Twin B found them I don't know. He played detective. My bank card was in the car (ah, NOW I remember leaving it there).
