In the 60's.....not the years, the temps! 😋Bet you were about to put on your bell-bottoms and tie-dye tee-shirts, eh? Anyway, it is supposed to rain today and tomorrow, but a soaking rain, not a deluge. However, it is partly overcast with weak sunshine, so it could turn either way; one report sez it won't rain until around 6 PM.

I don't know if it is a day for Chatty CG to come here; I have lost track! Doesn't matter. Nothing matters. It will be what it will be and to heck with me!

Almost noon and the spam/texts from the hoaxers have started. I get at least half-dozen or more of those unidentified calls every day. I never answer them, and they never give up. The voicemail they leave is blank air and then the background sounds of multiple voices from a call center kick in, and then they hang up. I guess they leave a nothing message just to annoy me because my not answering annoys them. Oh well! It is a stand-off (notice there is no nationality to that remark!). I will win.

It's Thursday, which is the day to gather all the trash and wheel the bins out to the end of the driveway for pick up in the morning. Will wash yesterday's dishes also, but unless Nannie's bed is like a tide-pool, there will be no laundry done today!. BTW, I love the remark about housekeeping: "There appears to have been a struggle".

Noontime, so I'd better put on some clothes. {What a riot! The spell-check turned 'put on my clothes' to "PUTIN my clothes". 🤔 🤨 REALLY 'AI' to turn it into a political statement!}

It is in the 60's here too, which feels quite warm. But the wind is blowing hard, and the rain is starting. I got a text reminder this morning that I am to start golf lessons tonight, which I totally forgot about. dd and I are doing them together but she is in Canada with her boys for Spring break, so we both forgot. I will go, unless, (please, please) it gets postponed due to weather. There are lots of big trees at the golf course and that is the last place I want to be in high winds. Well that and the open ocean.

Hello!

It is in the mid-80's here, and we have the A/C on. Dh says the other morning he saw that something had dug up the fountain, and almost gotten the pump out of the water -- which, if that had happened, the pump would have died! He thinks it was either a raccoon or a possum. He put it all to rights and it is doing well now.

I just got home from getting my teeth thoroughly X-rayed, photographed, and cleaned and polished! Well, that won't last long, LOL!

Not much else going on, except little sleep last night. To make up for it, I slept in till 1030 or so. Dh's allergies are really kicking up -- methinks it's because the orange blossoms are all around us -- some at the park across the street, and some in ppl's yards.

I watched Singin' In the Rain last night. A nice bit of fluff. I enjoy watching them all work together making the film -- Donald O'Connor is great in Make 'Em Laugh and I like watching him and Gene Kelly in Moses Supposes His Toeses Are Roses, but I especially like Jean Hagen's acting in it. "What do you think I am, dumb or somethin'?" And then Debbie Reynolds' innocence and her voice, and Cyd Charisse's dance with Gene Kelly --- yes, I like the whole package!
