For those who have already taken NCLEX, what are your thoughts on not studying the day before the test. I know what the experts say blah blah, I want opinions of people like me! If you DID study the day before, do you think it was helpful or wish that you would have relaxed? Thanks!
I tried not to review anything but I couldn't resist. I was so unsure and nervous. I didn't have a chance to review all of the rationales from the readiness test 2 days before the test so I reviewed the rest on the day before.
Also, I scanned through 3-4 pages of the allnurses study guide the day before.

So how'd it go?? You had your NCLEX Today right??
Same! I don't think anyone comes out if there thinking they passed. I was like oh my god I blew at 75 lol! Glad we are done with that and don't ever have to worry about it again!!
I know right lol?! I admit that I feel very relieved after seeing the good pop. Now, I can get back to leisure reading (non-nursing lol). I've made a list throughout nursing school of books that I'd like to read, after I was done.
Good luck to everyone that's taking the NCLEX soon or waiting on their official results (incl. myself)! I know it's super nerve-wrecking.
I am new to the forum! I passed the PN nclex on 9/11 2012....I was told by many not to study the day before the nclex, but I did my questions and had my PN nclex book open until right before the test! For me It worked and I think It kept my mind In study mode! Doing a 100 questions a day for 4 weeks before and reading my PN nclex book Is what helped me to pass! Every one Is different In the way they study.....Just need to stay positive, and tell yourself you can do It!
I take my NCLEX-RN tomorrow and I am still studying. I just finished a 100 question test and I am taking a break before I do another 100 question test and then I think I will go over the allnurses study guide again. I understand the rationale for not studying the day before but honestly I have always been a crammer and it has worked for me so far. Good luck to all of you and please post back here when you get your quick results or number on BON website. Whatever comes first!

I was a crammed in nursing school too. So I know how you feel. It just didn't feel right to not look over SOMETHING at the last minute lol. Honestly, I did like 10 QBank questions to get myself in the zone before I left the house. It didn't really help though. I was still a nervous wreck throughout the entire test AND after lol. That's just me though *shrugs*.

I don't see the rationale behind not studying the day of or before. I read Allnurses' study guide and did some questions on Saunders & Kaplan.
