I'm going to be taking my NCLEX RN in Texas in approximately four weeks. I'm currently doing the LaCharity PDA 3rd Ed and would appreciate your thoughts on my scores so far. I'm finding many of these questions to be very tough if not impossible and I'm a bit nervous about the scores. However, I'm not sure what scores are considered "good" with such difficult testing.
Completed:
Ch1 Pain 65%
Ch2 Cancer 64%
Ch3 Immune 70%
Ch4 Fluid & Electrolyte 70%
Ch5 Safety and Infection 54%
Ch6 Respiratory 57%
Ch7 Cardio 71%
Overall average so far: 64.5%

I'm sorry but I can't tell you what score is considered bad or good but what I can suggest is read every rationale and know each team's responsibilities and I'm sure everything will follow. I have some materials that I think can help you as well for room assignments. If you're interested just send me a message and I'll be glad to help. Good luck. You can do it. God bless. :)
Thanks! I don't have 15 posts yet so I'm unable to send messages.

I just passed my NCLEX last week and I used LaCharity as well..my advice would be to just make sure you understand the rational of why each patient would be seen and what can & can't be delegated etc. The book really helped me.. because I had a good bit of delegation and priority questions..Good Luck!!
