Hi Everyone! The living expenses/transportation are a rough estimate of how much you may need but you can opt out of receiving that money if you do not need it. In other words everyones financial situation is different so they calculate how much you may need. Some students strictly rely on loans for everything because they may not have a job or the necessary means to pay.Therefore for them those additional funds are available. Basically, you borrow how much you need. Mrs. RN 99-> You are correct you pay for your own transportation/ hotel room etc. during seminar weekends. They usually provide lunch:)
