Those that prefer to work with men

So my Clinical instructor said something interesting today. She said she Hates Hates HATES!!! working with women in Nursing and she wishes that Nursing was a male dominated field so that she could stand it....

Dont know what to make of this...any thoughts or experiences?

male nurses that i worked with,esp foreign born males didnt like me asking them a question, even something as simple about clarifying an order they wrote.

your instructor sounds like she may be sexist. if she didnt like nursing there are a million other careers where men dominate. come to think of it, how many men were in nursing before the pay became "better"?
