Those Accepted For Banner Fellows @ Gateway July 2010

Published

To all of those who got accepted a BIG Congratulations to all of you!

For those who did not, keep plugging away, your day too shall come...eye on the prize...eye on the prize.

I started this new thread in the hopes of those of us attending the July 2010 session for Banner at Gateway could communicate and get to know each other a little better perhaps before we start July 6th.

Perhaps look at where we all live and discuss possible car pools, study groups etc in advance. Any thoughts?

I myself live in Surprise, so anyone out my way please feel free to drop a line.

Also thought we could possibly discuss what we could do to start preparing and what to obtain prior to starting (IE: Digital Recorders, Laptops, PDA's, software for both, etc etc...).

Look forward to hearing from all of you. :D

3:00 PM works for me as well. Did we decide on Kona at SanTan Village?

I look forward to meeting everyone!

Yes three at kona grill at San tan sounds good! We can all wait out front I guess? I'll be wearing jeans and a tank top! Hope that narrows it down some haha

Great, thank you all for being flexible.. I'll be wearing a black polo shirt and jeans. My name is Christina.

Hey I just got my info packet in the mail today! Has anyone else??

My mail hasn't ran yet, bring it so i can take a peek!

of course! I'll bring it so we can all have a look :)

So I am doing my cpr class through Heartsavers in Mesa. Fri the 25th from 3-6 pm at a cost of $45. 480-998-5193

I'm bummed! I wasn't checking the thread because I didn't get any emails that there were new messages or I would have met with you guys yesterday... Oh well next time:)

So I was looking on the breakdown of charges on my.maricopa.edu and I was registered for a nursing pre-test..any of you guys have an idea as to what the pre-test might be on? The only thing I can think of is it might be similar to the NET or HESI...any ideas?

Hey all, just wanted to give you a heads up, if you don't know already. But I went to the bookstore at Gateway to get my books today because I'll be going out of town, and the bookstore informed me they won't have the books until July 1st for the Banner cohort. I would still call ahead on July 1st to make sure. Have a good week!

Hey christinar1515,

I called this morning and they told me the same thing hopefully they will have them before orientation!

Cscanlon: I have no idea what a nurse pre-test could be?? Hmmm interesting!

if anyone still needs vaccinations, i found a place called evvax (east valley vaccination center) that is less expensive than banner occupational health services.
