To all of those who got accepted a BIG Congratulations to all of you! :up:

For those who did not, keep plugging away, your day too shall come...eye on the prize...eye on the prize.

I started this new thread in the hopes of those of us attending the July 2010 session for Banner at Gateway could communicate and get to know each other a little better perhaps before we start July 6th.

Perhaps look at where we all live and discuss possible car pools, study groups etc in advance. Any thoughts?

I myself live in Surprise, so anyone out my way please feel free to drop a line.

Also thought we could possibly discuss what we could do to start preparing and what to obtain prior to starting (IE: Digital Recorders, Laptops, PDA's, software for both, etc etc...).

I live over in the east valley in Chandler haha its pretty far away from where you're at WannaBeBanner..Im just so excited to start and to meet everyone!!!!!! Ive been waiting for a year now, and this is just so exciting! Hopefully our admissions packets from Gateway will give us more info. The only thing Ive got so far is our orientation. Just curious..does anyone know how we are supposed to get our books and any other materials we will need? I just wanna get my stuff asap.. I guess that info. could possibly come in the admissions packet haha...

Hey everyone I live in the super far east valley in Queen Creek. I am all about trying to get study groups together I am very excited to start and meet everyone.I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!

ruco19 and cscanlon...you are obviously more than welcome to join us if we meet up in the NW valley of course. But wow, quite a hike for you two...you guys are way east valley from Jennaz and I.

I am excited to meet all of you and I am really looking forward to getting started. Filling out my forms now and will mail them back today :D

I live in Mesa so Ruco maybe we can figure out a time to get together, or we can all meet somewhere in the middle and all meet up! I am so excited! Let's hook up so we can chat about things!

Hehe I just sent mine this morning!!!! Just let me know when and where you guys are meeting and I'll for sure come as long as I dont have to work. This is just so exciting!! Does anyone know the schedule?? Someone told me once it was going to be Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30 to 9:30 and Saturday clinicals..gaahh July 6th cant come soon enough! Im more than ready to start nursing school!

Unless something has changed, it is Tue and Thur Evenings 5:30 to 9:30 and Sat all day??? I am sooo excited as well :)

As far as us meeting gang...I'm game for when ever really for us to all meet for the 1st time and then perhaps we can split up more locally there after. So somewhere in central Phoenix where everyone is about the same distance is cool with me...I don't mind driving to meet all my future RN's :D

Since no one's made suggestion yet as to when and where I'll throw out the first proposal...LOL (come on that's funny!)

I can't on Saturday, my daughter has a dance recital. I am free on Sunday and pretty much any day after that. I only work until 11 am on most days :)

Well typically I am "always" home on Sundays...family day don't ya know...lol. But I suppose in light of these special circumstances I can make an acception...lol.

Let's wait to hear from matix05 and ruco19 and see what their availability is and if Sunday will work for them. Also, I hope there is just more than us four (4) on this site that are going. So let's see if we get anyone else to respond to this thread as well.

But Sunday at same time and location will work for me if everyone else agrees to it.
