I know this might be early but since TRU nursing is already taking applicaltions I was wondering what average's other people applied with? I'm worried my average will be too low
I got my acceptance letter today for TRU fall 2016 program and still debating whether or not to go. I am in my second year in University here in Vancouver and don't really have any friends or family up in the Okanagan, but I guess i'll be busy with the high demand program?
TRU - Thompson Rivers University - is in Kamloops. Kamloops isn't in the Okanagan. The closest Okanagan community is Vernon, 117 km away.
Hi,
I got my scanned acceptance letter today, and the hard copy will be sent in the mail. They are asking me to confirm my seat by April 19th and pay the $500 commitment fee by the 26th. However, I am still waiting to hear from other schools (UBC-O and BCIT) because I got shortlisted at BCIT for August "16 intake.
Anyone else applied at BCIT who applied at TRU as well?
Anyone has any insider info about the seat offering process at TRU BScN program? Why are they sending out acceptance letters gradually over a one-month period? Do they rank candidates and then send out early letters to those on the top of the list to see if they accept? And if they don't accept, they offer those seats to other people down the list? Just curious.
Or are they simply being more careful after the last year's mishap where they erroneously sent out acceptance letters to 504 applicants? :-)

For those who got their acceptance letters: What's the deadline they gave you to pay the "commitment fee" for acceptance into the program?
