I know this might be early but since TRU nursing is already taking applicaltions I was wondering what average's other people applied with? I'm worried my average will be too low

Hey, I had a question about the letter of introduction. I'm not feeling very confident about mine. :/ What did you guys write about. I talked about why i chose nursing and the school and also talked a bit about myself and my volunteer work.

My average from high school is 86 and from first year university classes it's a 3.99. Does anyone know the average to get in from previous years? Will they base acceptance just on pre requisites or do they consider your university classes too?

When do we hear if we have gotten a seat?

Hi everyone! I also applied to TRU for the September 2016 intake. My friend got in last year with a 90% average but she said when she spoke to some of the girls in her classes, their grades were more in the 80% range. She wrote her introduction letter the night before applications were due and she still got in..so fingers crossed! I remember that she got the acceptance e-mail on April 17th, so I'm assuming we may get them around the same time this year. Good luck to everyone! :)

Hi guys. I am from Abbotsford and was wondering if anyone else is from around here too? I want to go to UFV but its very competitive so I thought I would apply to TRU and UBCO just in case.

How did you receive a seat offer? Did they email or mail you an acceptance letter?

Building on what LindseyT said, I also received this offer in the snail mail. The letter started with the date. In bold, underlined size 24 font.
