Got mine yesterday also!! Congrats!

Got word that they are still reviewing applications for interviews and there are still seats open. Those who haven’t heard, we still have a chance. Those who got in, congrats!

You can never go wrong knowing your patient population well and bringing up everything that sets you apart (certifications,  leadership,  etc). It all comes down to selling yourself and showing them why you deserve a spot. I had a few interviews and my fair share of rejections and I wish I could tell you that they were all the same. They were not. Some of them can be very clinical and others more of a get to you type of thing.

Specializes in Neonatal/Pediatric Intensive Care.

Does anyone know if there are spots still open ?

Unfortunately, I missed the priority deadline of November 15th. I am still waiting on 2/3 recommendation letters to be submitted. I am worried now that there will be no spots left by the time the school receives the remainder of my letters.

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! Well-deserved! ?

Im sorry to hear about your references not being completed on time. This exactly what I struggled the most when I was applying myself. I go over my experience on my vlog:

Specializes in Neonatal/Pediatric Intensive Care.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I've just subscribed to your Youtube channel. I hope you continue to vlog throughout your program!

At this point, I am just hoping my recommendations will be in soon.

Have you decided which school you will be attending yet?

*sorry not sure how to respond directly to someone*

Thank you for doing that.  I just found it ironic that nobody ever mentions that. I hope you find my videos helpful and give you hope. I was rejected many times before I got a yes. Persistence is key. I will make a video once a week if possible. Im waiting to hear back from one in Boston, but the one I got in is in Philadelphia. They're both my first choices. Again, hang in there. I feel your pain.

Congratulations again! And thank you for your advice.

I just received an invitation to schedule my interview! Eeek so excited! Any advice from those who have already completed their interviews?
