Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Is anyone applying? I just got the email to set up the admissions interview so I'm really excited and nervous. Any people who were accepted into this program around and can give some tips on the interview?

:)

Hi! I had my interview at the end of September for Fall 2010 admission to the BSN Prelicensure program at Jefferson. I am very excited that I got accepted. The interview was much better than I had anticipated. You have already proved yourself academically which is the hardest part. I get the feeling that grades are extremely important, especially the science classes. Just be your genuine, sweet and caring self and you will be fine. You may be asked what you two favorite academic subjects were and why. You may also be asked how you feel about caring for someone who has a different belief system than yourself. Remember, they would not call you in for an interview if they didn't feel strongly about you already. You have already proven yourself academically, now they just want to verify that you are a serious, sincere and caring human being which I am sure that you are. You will be great! Congratulations on being called in for an interview! I hope to see you in the Fall of 2010! :yeah:

Yes, Jefferson has a LONG prestigious legacy in nursing and strives to maintain that with each new class.

Always in life be sincere, honest, and true to yourself. That will bring you much success and happiness.

I am an "OLD JEFF Diploma Grad", Jefferson opened many doors for me. Gave me clinical opportunities as a student that others only dreamed about. I worked there for several years after graduation and it opened doors for future opportunities. I worked there 8 years after graduation and then moved on to Johns Hopkins in management. I still am in that system but in a different area. I graduated in 1976, the instructors and professors were hard on us, but they turned out some of the BEST nurses worldwide. Everyone trusts and respects a Jeff Nurse. Good Luck.
