Thomas Jefferson University FACT 1-Year Program 2017 Applicants

Published

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else had applied to Thomas Jefferson's Fact 1-year program. I wanted to start a thread for prospective students like myself. Good luck to all that have applied!!!

@mrsfedor

Thank you so much for your reply. Congrats!!!

Hi ladies are you applying for the night and weekend program at the Abington Campus? Right now Im at a 3.0 and I wanted to know what kind of questions do they ask in the interview?

Hello have you had an interview yet? I am trying to get into the night and weekend program also, but I haven't gotten any emails about an interview.

Is anyone going to new student day for Center City campus on Saturday? Also, I'm looking for some cheaper housing options... my lease is up at the end of May. Looking to either move at the end of April or the beginning of May before school starts. Is anyone looking for a roommate?

I am torn between Jefferson FACT-1 and Drexel ACE. These two programs are my top choices for the accelerated nursing program and I have been accepted into both. Unfortunately, I am torn between both and cannot decide which one to go to. They both seem around the same price but I know Jefferson offers master credits and an automatic acceptance into their master program. Any advice?

Hello, I was accepted to the Fact 1 year program at Abington campus and am very excited to meet my other classmates and get started! If someone did start a Facebook page please let me know, I would love to become apart of it.

As for choosing between Drexel and TJU, I went through the same thing and ended up choosing TJU for the same reason most other students said

-location

-direct acceptance to master programs

-taking a few master credits in this FACT year

-small class size

-TJU reputation for their outstanding healthcare system

Hope this was helpful and best of luck making your decision!

Hi Ins215 and congratulations on your acceptance!! There is a Facebook group for FACT class 2018, but I am not sure if it is for center city students only. I am in this group but most of discussions seems relevant for main campus - they start program in May. Maybe we should do a separate group for Abington Dixon campus?

Congrats on your acceptance. When did you apply and how long did it take you to hear back?

Hello,

I recently got accepted to the program (Abington campus). I was wondering how hard/easy is it to find apartments. I from upstate NY.

Thanks

I recently got accepted too and wondering the same. I will be moving from Dallas, TX. I just don't know the good areas close to the Abington-Dixon campus. Anyone familiar with the area? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

For those who are not from Philly/PA area and accepted to Abington/Dixon campus. You may look for available apartments in Willow Grove, Roslyn, Abington, Horsham or Hatboro, PA. All of it will be 5 min drive to the campus. There is a bunch of apartment complexes around. I am local, but not familiar with public transportation (I am sure it is available though). The area is very safe.

Thank you. Will look them up.
