Thomas Jefferson University FACT 1-Year Program 2017 Applicants

Published

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else had applied to Thomas Jefferson's Fact 1-year program. I wanted to start a thread for prospective students like myself. Good luck to all that have applied!!!

I applied in mid-October and was invited to interview November 2. And a week from the interview to being accepted.

Hi Starrrface! Did you apply to the main campus? Do you mind to share your stats (your BS and prereqs GPA) - since you are already accepted. I applied in mid November to Abington and didn't here anything yet...

Hi mrsfedor - yes, I applied to the main campus. Jackie Hane was the admission rep, not sure if there is someone different for Abington or not, but that might affect the timeframe. My BA GPA was somewhere around 3.7; it was a while ago so I don't remember exactly. I have 4.0 in my prereqs. I hope you hear soon - good luck!

Thanks a lot, Starrface! And Congrats on your acceptance! I believe Jackie is in Abington as well. It looks like she has her hands full between two campuses and hundreds of applicants... Keeping fingers crossed!

Is there a Facebook for accepted students??

My interview is today and I am so nervous I can't stand it!

Hi acv678, so how was your interview? was it really too bad? did they say when you'll here back from them?

I was also accepted! Can someone make a Facebook?

mrsfedor, I think it went well. It was more relaxed than I thought it was going to be, although I was glad I took the time to be really prepared. The other candidates in the interview were all well qualified also, so the competition for the remaining seats is real. The faculty needs to review my file to make an admissions decision because I took some nursing courses in the past...it's just a policy of their program. So she said I could count on it being 2 or 3 weeks until I hear back from her.

Thank you for response, acv678! I got an invitation for the interview as well - in Abington Dixon campus. Now it's my turn to get nervous) I wish you a good luck during the admission process. I actually was wondering if it would be a little easier to get into main campus class: 128 seats vs. 24... Keep fingers crossed!

Hello everyone,

I am applying to Abington Dixion for Fall 2017.

I submitted my application in the beginning of Dec.

My application is not yet complete...still waiting for a letter of recommendation to be processed.

I'm nervous that the class is filling up:no:

Hello, don't get too nervous just yet - interviews for Abington-Dixon campus only started last week. Just make sure you meet Jan 15th deadline for your reference letter to be posted and application paid. Good Luck!
