0Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else had applied to Thomas Jefferson's Fact 1-year program. I wanted to start a thread for prospective students like myself. Good luck to all that have applied!!!
I am torn between Jefferson FACT-1 and Drexel ACE. These two programs are my top choices for the accelerated nursing program and I have been accepted into both. Unfortunately, I am torn between both and cannot decide which one to go to. They both seem around the same price but I know Jefferson offers master credits and an automatic acceptance into their master program. Any advice?
I also considered Drexel. If you already have plans of pursing your masters I would say Jefferson. It was one of the reasons I enrolled. I honestly hate the application process with the recommendations, essays, transcripts, etc and I don't want to do it again with masters programs. I'm attending the program at the Abington campus so location also played a huge role. I love the city but hate the commute! I would contact Drexel though to see what their process is for their masters programs for current ACE students. They might have a streamlined process.
Hi kb2017. I was torn between the two programs myself and decided on TJU FACT over Drexel's ACE program. I think the swaying factors for me were the Masters credits, the lower cost, and the location. I am going to Abington in the Fall, and I know that I will cut down on commute time and stress by avoiding center city! Plus, the small class size at TJU was another factor for me. I think you get more focus from professors when the class is small in my opinion. Good luck in your decision. Wherever you decide they are both great programs.
Hi KB2017 - I got into both programs and had a hard time deciding as well - however ultimately I chose TJNU for a few reasons:
- Cost is less than Drexel (though not by much but every dollar counts!)
- Acceptance into Masters' program
- Vetting is in depth at TJNU - it just didn't feel right only having to submit transcripts to Drexel. I wanted to make sure I was going to school with not just a good program but a good cohort as we will all be spending a lot of time together so it's nice to know I am in a program with people who have similar end goals as me. TJNU had a detailed application process plus the interviews. Their admission office was so quick to get back to me with every question that I had starting from a year and a half prior to applying to the program.
-Gut feeling. It's always best to listen to your own instincts. Even through Drexel starts before TJNU and will therefore end sooner it just wasn't sitting right with me. Definitely think about it and reach out to as me resources as possible before making your decision.
Hi there,
I just got an invite to an interview tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone had went through the interview process and would like to give me some insight about the interview process. I'm quite nervous, I'm not going to lie. Is there anything I should be prepared for? It will be greatly appreciated! Good luck to all!
Congrats on your invite. Will you be attending the Center City or the Abington Dixton Campus? I received an invite yesterday.

Hi all. Potential Jeff applicant in the upcoming years. Was just wondering what GPA they really look for. I know it says 3.0 on the website. Right now I'm at a 3.2 (still have a few more semesters to pull it up a bit). Also have shadowing hours & by the time I am ready to apply, 3 years as a pharmacy tech (nationally certified). With your experience going through the application process, how does this look thus far?

I recently received a financial aid package from Jefferson. Since FACT is a second bachelor- fin aid is pretty limited. In my case I have no choice other than start looking for a private loans...
