I was wondering if anyone else had applied to Thomas Jefferson's Fact 1-year program. I wanted to start a thread for prospective students like myself. Good luck to all that have applied!!!

Haha thanks for making me feel better! I was a bio major, then switched to psych, so I have a lot of bio classes done as well. Got a D in ochem though :(.

I am feeling very anxious as my interview is in the upcoming week.Can anybody please share their interview experience and tell what kind of questions should be expected.

I am feeling very anxious as my interview is in the upcoming week.Can anybody please share their interview experience and tell what kind of questions should be expected.

Expect a lot of situational questions. Very similar to what you would expect in a job interview. Why nursing, why Jefferson, how did you repsond to a difficult situation, working with difficult people, working with people that don't share your values and questions like that. It's in a group format with just one interviewer and 2-3 other candidates. Some questions are the same for everybody and some she'll ask to each individual. Overall not terrible but good luck!

Don't be too anxious! I interviewed a couple of days ago and was sure I bombed it. I was accepted this morning so I think as long as you have really good application overall, you should be fine!

I'm not sure how long it was. Maybe an hour?? The questions are what ahjonnies215 said. I think she asks what a nurse does, why being professional is important, and qualities of a nurse.
