I am taking NRSE 4550 Spring 2 2013. Who else is in this class?

We only have 2 weeks left and we can do this!! I have not even looked at the internal validity assignment and not too sure what it is? Has anyone completed it? I have been trying to get through the readings for week #4.

Has anyone noticed under the to do list for week 4, it states we have to post to 2 discussion boards? I only see one under the assignments tab. I will post to the Q & A board when it becomes available tomorrow.

Only 1 DB this week. The other thing is an assignment...so there are 2 assignments but BOTH can be taken multiple times. That was a typo per my TA. Good news to start the week!!!

I noticed that also...not sure what the Level of Measurement discussion board is?? I only see one under the assignment tab also--hopefully that is all we have to do! I can only handle so much!!

They'll probably open that up by tomorrow morning. It's some kind of assignment,not a DB. I did the validity assignment. 5 questions. You can take it more than once...the same questions come up so it's easy!

I did both assignments, the Internal validity and the levels of measurement. The levels of measurement was harder, as I had a hard time getting the information in the book to make sense. I am still concerned about the last 2 weeks though, and still wish we knew the value of quizzes, db posts and assignments. If I do the math right- the quizzes are worth 12%, which is 60% or 144 total points out of 240. But, the last quiz is only 20 points? So is it still worth 12%? The DB are worth 4% each for 20% total, or 48 points out of 240. So, that leaves 20% for the assignments. I'm hoping that the week 5 quiz is worth less points, so that the assignments are worth more. The quizzes in this course might keep me from getting an A...:(

You can do them more than once, the internal validity was less confusing than the other one

I just did both assignments--a nice way to boost your grade if you need the points!

I think the level of measurement was confusing because it was graded incorrectly. I have the study guide for this text and the same quiz is in the study guide, they also provide the answers in the back of the book and about half of the answers are different on the Bb assignmant from the study guide. i don't know what's right and what's wrong any more. this is such a tough class with so many inconsistancies.

I'm taking this class over the summer. I've seen lots of references to the "study guide" and have a quick question. Is this the study guide that is sold in addition to the book, or is this an online study guide, or is this a study guide that the professor sends out each week?

The instructor posts a study guide each week that's supposed to be used to study for that week's quiz.
