I would like to start a thread for those people seeking support and will be taking their boards for the third attempt. Hope we can all share study tips and how we can improve our studying together. Third time is critical. At least I know in NJ if you don't pass the third time, you have to remediate for 30 hrs show to the BON you did it before you can take it again. Then BON will allow only twice more, if you are unsuccessful, you will have to go back to nursing school. I am very scared.
Let us support each other.:)

I'm with you. I will be retaking for the 3rd time when I get the courage to sign up. I am doing Suzanne's plan this time and only have 2 chapters left. I pray that I pass this time. I felt like after I didn't pass the second time I wanted to give up.
I'll be taking it most likely on mid Dec. hopefully I'll have a good Christmas with the fam. For the meantime, I am taking a break. I'll be taking an assessment test and see where I am weak. I will do Suzanne's plan again exactly as it is written this time without breaking the cycle. I will try to have a positive attitude everyday. To start off, I wrote my name with RN in the end and post it in front of my laptop, I'll be posting one in the bathroom later and the fridge to remind me that I have a goal and by hook or by crook, I will be an RN. I look at my family everytime and they are my inspiration.

Hi well is good to support each other. There are some days I feel like giving up, but then I come to the site and feel better after. I took the exam 1st time in 06 went to 154q, the 2nd time 07 shut down at 75q. 1st time I studied for several sources, 2nd time I did kaplan only, neither worked. Now I am following Suzanne's plan. I am praying it works, I applied to Fl BON if you fail 3rd time a remedial course is to be taken, it cost like $2000, I am not sure how long it is. well, count on me for the support.
