can anyone please tell me about the program? Me and a friend of mine.is considering OU online but no admissions reps will call to explain the process of signing up for school, the lenght of the program or how to even get started. Does anyone like OU online? Are the classes sensible? Any input woild be greatly appreciated...thank you!
cincinursemary 891 Posts Dec 18, 2013 if you go to OU's web site it explains the program. www.ohio.edu. IN the search click on RN to BSN. Too much to write in this response. As it is approaching the holidays they may have short staff. Communication isn't one of their strong points. Application was easy, on-line, did it in about 20-30 minutes.I like the 5 week accelerated nursing courses- goes faster, but you work your butt off while it is in session.

Frills 95 Posts Dec 21, 2013 I completed the program in August. I agree with cincinursemary. The five week nursing classes are very fast paced. It is essential to keep up with readings, assignments and postings. A positive aspect is that since the classes are only five weeks it goes quickly. I was lucky, my advisor was very helpful and all of my credits transferred. A few of the classes were very frustrating due to poor instructions and/or picky TA's. All in all I am pleased with this program.

Classes go quickly and much better than sitting in the classroom. Every program has their bugs to be worked out and problems.
