Hello everybody this is Shanah , Im interested in doing Nursing program and one of my friend suggested me to join the Australian Centre of Further Education to do my Nursing program , i had look over its website and everything seems to amazing , anyone in this forum know about the ACFE ? Im looking for your suggestions before i could join them , You can have look over their website and let me know ACFE thanks Shanah

Personally I would beware of and check very closely any organization that seems to slant toward the recruitment of overseas nurses. Many such organizations become known for taking advantage of those who seek their services. Do some reading in and post about this in the International forum. Maybe you can get some response from those who have firsthand knowledge of this company.

Specializes in medical.

It seems bizarre to me to do a nursing course in Australia if you are not living there or plan to live there. I used to live in Australia & obtained my BSN there. I have dual citizenship with Australia & US. I first went to Australia in 1976 and it took a lot of letter writing and almost a year before I was able to go. Australia is a commonwealth country & gives preference to those citizens.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Bit confused as your profile indicates you are in Australia however you are asking about something that some IEN's have to do to meet requirements.

We have several threads discussing Australia and working there so suggest you have a read there about it.
