27. The ability to ZIP THE LIP and be a shock-absorber to someone (doctor, patient, family etc.) whose displacing anger, hurt, guilt, loneliness, or whatever. Fine. I'll be the sponge. But I have to drain all excess at the end of the day so watch out!

The patience of Job in order to keep from slappng the snot out of some of these self absorbed patients and families. Same goes with doctrs who verbally abuse the nurses for clarifying orders that their drunk self couldn't get straight......oh I can go on and on

However, they are able to keep their composure in the face of stressful situations enough to hold their own against the stony faced competitors in a poker tournament.

Oh, so many things to learn. I'm still a student, and I haven't been in the hospital for long. This profession truly is an art form, and I have such a learning curve.
