Just wondering if anyone works in this type of clinic and what it is like? Thinking of doing something totally different?

I am not sure what a therapeutic abortion clinic is. However, women's reproductive health is an important part of nursing, that seems to spark debate, however, it is important to have knowledgeable nurses to facilitate.

Therapeutic abortion is the term for elective abortion.
Given the regulatory environment, the ongoing legal uncertainties, the prospect of protest activities and even the risk of violence, it is not a job for the faint of heart, for sure.

I came VERY close to accepting a job offer a few months ago as clinic manager for a VERY well-known abortion provider (think George Tiller). In the end, I had to decline the offer because I was afraid it would hinder my future career goals. But I would LOVE to work for an abortion clinic. As it is, I work for a women's health clinic primarily with uninsured and low-income women, and we refer to the abortion clinics regularly.
