The waiting is the hardest part!

So I've applied to all my area nursing schools and I'm having the worst time being patient. April seems so far away. Some schools don't send acceptance letters until May! I thought that once school started this semester, it would get better because I would be occupied but not so much! Anyone else waiting? Any tips/advice?

I feel your pain! I applied two months before the Feb 15th deadline at my school. I won't know anything until late April/early May. It's just awful- particularly because I've really put all my eggs into one basket. Fingers crossed for us! I'm taking two classes this semester AND planning a wedding and I still can't stop thinking about it. I don't think there's a cure!

Our application deadline is 3/24. Turning in my application and scheduling my interview for next week. I heard letters go out early April

Sounds you like have a fairly quick turnaround time - lucky you! I don't have to do an interview though. Good luck with your entire process!

I know how you feel. I have to wait until June to find out. Oh my goodness. I'll be frantic by then. Not really. I hope you get in.

Hi Cheri,

Out of curiosity, how many schools did you apply to? I applied to five programs.

I wanted to apply to all 12, yes twelve, schools in my area, but some were $55 a pop to apply so...

If I had twelve programs to apply to, I might have - lol. I applied to four programs so I'm right behind you. I figured I would give myself as many chances as possible to get into a program. Good luck to you!

I just got an acceptance letter this evening to a nursing program for this fall. Over the moon excited! Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!

So are you going to accept that nursing program? I know you had applied several. Myself I put all my eggs in one basket. I applied to only one school so I am banking on that one! I suppose you don't want to pass up an opportunity not knowing the status on the others. Well anyhow I am so excited for you!
