So for some of us we have already received our acceptances and just finishing off this semester and we'll be all ready for summer and fall. Only have nine weeks to go and I just want it to be done now! lol I'm volunteering at the hospital this summer which I'm pretty excited about doing that and then waiting for orientation in september lol. I can only imagine what it's like for the people starting summer.
So how's your wait going? Did you get the packet of materials from the school yet? Book list ect. I didn't get mine yet but I know what's in it. The stuff saying we need CPR certification, background check and drug test info, some info on the malpractice insurance we need, the good ole' health form (I hate that thing ). I also know that we're required to buy the Nursing Constellations software for our mobile phones/PDA. Sigh lol I wanna cry already at all the money.
Thank you!!! Good Luck! Just a little poll I want to put out there....do you all think that the numbers for nursing school as far as applicants is high or low? I would assume it is high, but then again the economy is down and people may not be able to afford it? I don't know. Share your thoughts plz
Well, I'm happy to say that I'll be starting right after the long weekend in September! I was accepted last week. I haven't received my acceptance letter yet (found out I was accepted online) so I'm not sure what kind of info package I will get. I have already booked my first aid/basic life support class. I also ordered my stethoscope!
I've turned in my tuition deposit at GBCC in New Hampshire for the fall semester. There must have been alot of applicants because I know very few who were accepted. Some of the most qualified applicants (in my opinion) were waitlisted or denied. Need to schedule a physical and attend a Red Cross CPR class, but waiting on more info from the program before I go wild with purchases. Just need some sunny weather and a good summer to bank some money!
Grats to those who got their acceptance letters and good luck to those waiting.
I'm also waiting for my acceptance letter. I'm fairly certain I'm getting in. I was accepted last semester, but due to family obligations, I had to drop a pre-req and take it this semester. So, the wait is ON! I should know by the first week of June. Then, I get to buy books, supplies etc. Oh joy

You people need to post where you applied and waiting!! We are all waiting, but it would be nice to know who is in the exact same boat! I'm waiting on the NAU traditional program in AZ for Fall. Did not make the NAU accelerated
SUCKS, but oh well.
