Hey everyone. I was just accepted into the University of Tulsa online ABSN program starting in August 2024. Was wondering if anyone else was accepted into this cohort as well?

The ABSN is a new program! are you based in Oklahoma or a different state?

Looking into this program now, can anyone in the program currentlyshare how your experience is going?

From when you started- when was the bootcamp?

Are there clinicals for every class?

How are semesters divvied up?

Looking to hear as much as possible.

I'm starting the program in January. semesters are broken down into 2 terms per semester (8 week terms). The standard nursing classes have the correlating clinical component- this is the same for every nursing school across the board bc it's regulated by the state's BON. 

I'm scheduled for 18 credits next semester ( 9cr term 1; 9cr term 2). I'm prepared for it to be a lot of work and moving at a fast pace. My clinical starts in the Summer. Skills boot camp in Tulsa is scheduled for May.

They have the semester break down sheet listed on the website or you could ask them for the worksheet. they have been really kind and easy to work with.
