Call them tomorrow. I would think they would still send an email out even for a denial. Hopefully, they just overlooked you, and you got in.

Hi everyone.  Excited to see all the acceptances.  Does anyone know what a typical schedule looks like for the first semester as far as lectures, labs, etc?  Is it Monday-Friday 8-5 or only certain days and certain times?

Thanks!

@Amanda Garza

Here is what I was able to find:

The weekly schedule for students enrolled in the Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at UT Health San Antonio is structured to provide a comprehensive educational experience, integrating classroom instruction, laboratory practice, and clinical rotations. While specific schedules may vary each semester, the following provides a general overview of the typical weekly commitments:

Classroom Instruction

Frequency: Classes are held multiple days per week, typically Monday through Friday.

Format: All courses are conducted in-person on the San Antonio campus.

Content: Didactic sessions cover theoretical foundations of nursing practice and are essential for building the knowledge base required for clinical application.

Laboratory and Simulation Sessions

Frequency: Laboratory sessions are scheduled regularly, often once or twice a week, depending on the course requirements.

Duration: Sessions typically last several hours to allow for hands-on practice.

Purpose: These sessions provide students with the opportunity to develop and refine clinical skills in a controlled environment before applying them in real-world settings.

Clinical Rotations

Frequency: Clinical experiences are scheduled throughout the week, including weekdays and occasionally weekends, to accommodate the diverse schedules of clinical sites.

Duration: Shifts can range from 8 to 12 hours, aligning with standard nursing shifts.

Timing: Clinical rotations may occur during daytime or evening hours, depending on the specific assignment.

Locations: Students are placed in a variety of healthcare settings within a 60-mile radius of the university, including hospitals, clinics, and community health centers.

It is important to note that the exact schedule can vary based on course progression, clinical site availability, and individual student assignments. Students are expected to maintain flexibility to meet the demands of the program.

For the most accurate and detailed schedule, students should consult the official course syllabi and communicate with academic advisors or course coordinators.

They will probably send out a specific schedule closer to start date.

Thanks!  I hadn't see that, but that's helpful.

Has anyone received their student credentials that are needed to do the rest of the admission stuff?

They should be activated about three weeks after admission. Admission happened on Monday, April 28. Three weeks from that date would be tomorrow. I would think sometime this coming week.
