The University of Texas at Austin | Alternate Entry Master of Science in Nursing (AE-MSN) 2024

Published

Hi there,

I commented on last year's thread because I wasn't able to make a topic, but I figured out how to make one and so I wanted to post for people applying to next year's cohort.

Is there anyone currently in their PC-PNP program that would be willing to chat with me about the likelihood of acceptance?

Is anyone else applying to that program? Or to the other ones?

No, you're only offered the option to switch if you're an application didn't make it to the second round of reviews.

Are interviews still going on this month? I'm so anxious to hear back!

I was told they would be holding interviews up to Jan 15th. Decisions late Jan or Feb.

Does anyone know what their housing plans are for Austin if accepted?

I don't have much information but as a local I can say there is a lot of student housing right around campus. Studios as well as shared housing. So several options available.

Anyone else feeling the anxiety from final decisions being two weeks away?
Good luck to everyone ?

don't worry, everything is going to workout!
I wonder if a lot of applications were sent in this year.

Specializes in Psychiatry.

I accepted an offer of admission from Vanderbilt this week, so I will be giving up my spot if accepted. ?

@carolinepsych Congratulations on your acceptance to Vanderbilt! That's a huge achievement.

Looking at last years discussion, it seems  like most people heard back around February 6th through the 8th!
