Starting a thread for those applying to UT's AE-MSN program for 2023.

Hi! I found this site when I was doing research before applying to the AE-MSN program and just wanted to finally comment to thank anyone who used this platform! Reading the advice and seeing the prior timelines unfold was really encouraging for me. I found out today I got accepted to the AG-CNS!! Excited to meet some of you soon and good luck to those waiting or applying next cycle- you got this! ??

@Leahpsych you have great stats! I think the committee was really splitting hairs in choosing PMHNP applicants this year.

I have B.S. in neuroscience, 4.0 in prereqs, work experience as a behavioral and neuromodulation therapist, and work experience in healthcare management, and I'm now finishing up a master's degree in health administration. My LORs were a psychiatrist I worked under, an NP, and a nursing operations manager.

We have similar stats, so I would say not to give up if this is your dream! Also, I think the interview was really important so make sure to go through older forum posts where people say what they were asked during their interviews. That helped me so much and I came off very prepared when I had mine for this cycle! Hope this helps!

I knew that was you! We interviewed together. I'm the one who had no voice. LOL Congrats on getting in! I went home from the interview and told my husband they'd be crazy to not admit you.

I'm starting to panic, I haven't heard anything back yet. I've checked spam too ?

I haven't either but don't worry it's still early!

I'm also nervous! I think most LeaDS applicants are still waiting to hear something. Fingers crossed we get news today!

Ekkk I'm trying not to! Good luck ? what track did you apply to?

@kemlag Ahhh I hope that's the case. Fingers crossed for sure.

@ssharmonie I initially applied to PMHNP but was deferred to LeaDS. Hopefully we will hear today! Good luck to you too ?
