Anyone applying right now for fall entry? Any current students have any insight into the app process? 

Specializes in Med-surg/Renal unit then a school nurse for 16 yrs.

Hey guys, I got an interview! Does anyone have any tips for me? I know someone mentioned to utilize the practice section to understand the program, so I will definitely do that!

Just remember the answers don't have to be perfect 👌  If your interview is similar to mine, some of the questions were asking about a person who inspired you, inspired a change of perspective/enlightenment and 10 year goals etc. Maybe have something in mind just in case you get the same questions I did. Good luck!

I applied to the FNP program on 03/05 and completed my interview on 03/18. A week after my interview my status on the portal still said department review in progress but a 70% application progress line popped up. I emailed Vickie because I have submitted everything. she said "I should've received an email with instructions to do the background check and drug screen. Once that is complete then I will receive my official acceptance letter. I will resend the email". I still haven't received an unofficial acceptance letter or instructions for background check/ drug screen. My status still says department review in progress. I have emailed her again but I still haven't gotten a response. I know they are busy. But does this mean I got in?

Hello! I'd emailed her because I saw the same thing. She didn't mention a background check for me but instead said I should recieve a decision soon. I'm still holding on to hope I guess?

I have emailed her twice since she sent me that email. I feel like she wouldn't have said she would send me the information unless I had gotten in. But I hope she's not giving me false hope.

Hey! Mine says 70% and I noticed it after I got the acceptance email. I completed my background and drug screen on Monday of this week. It still says 70% but I'm hopeful for both of yall!
