I can understand. Orientation has not been announced yet. Those dates are for Summer start.

@sanchsomie there are some things that have been shared on the thread here. But one question I remember was along the lines of...explain a time where a co-worker etc influenced you in a positive way in your career and how it influenced you? Just be natural as best you can. I practiced beforehand as much as I could then dove in.

@MattieV I have not heard anything on this yet. Vickie mentioned a virtual orientation this Summer but there were no set dates. Did they send an email I missed?

@SavannahStJohn interview tips. The questions for me were like ....Name a time when someone (peer) influenced you in a positive way and how has that helped you in your healthcare profession. . If you have conflict with another healthcare provider how would you resolve the conflict. Also there's great info within the thread if you haven't read it yet. Vickie told me on our phone call 60-80 are accepted and they had 300-400 applicants.

That is how many apply. Then she has phone calls she has to do with those after acceptance. So I know they're busy. But I started my stuff pretty early just didn't submit everything til a few weeks before the deadline. I'm hanging on to hope for you. Yes I was kinda shocked at the numbers. I bet that's a ton of work.

Vickie told me they have 300-400 applicants so far so it may take some time. Hopefully that's why it's taking longer. Thinking of you all!!

Just wondering if any of you guys received an acceptance letter? I had a phone call last week and it went good. Made me feel a little more at ease. You can use the same preceptor throughout your time as long as you can get each specialty covered. Also, they said they accept 60-80 students each semester. 1 instructor per 8 students is the guidelines she said. They are working on a virtual orientation date also.
