The Spring '05 Anatomy & Physiology Club: A&P 2

Hi all! Just thought I'd go ahead and start this. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas (or whatever you celebrate!) I'm very much enjoying my family time right now.

Spring semester starts January 5th for me, and I'll be taking A&P 2 and College Algebra. Hope to see lots of you posting here like last semester :)

SCMom, I start up again on 5/23 with Bioethics and religion. I'm getting a head start on the Bioethics reading, since my friend gave me the syllabus from last semester. It's only a 6 week term, but I know I have to miss a couple of classes because of some VERY important baseball games. ;)

I'm missing my first day of classes due to my son's last T Ball game :)

Well everyone, we made it through. It was rough but it sounds like we all pulled it off with at least a B which is awesome! I am still waiting for my grade to be posted - they are due by the 13th, so my instructor will probably not post until then :rolleyes:

Anyway, for those of you moving on to Microbiology this summer (mine is an 8 week course) we should start up a board and help each other out.

To everyone else, congratulations and good luck in the next semester. I am sure we will be talking again soon. Thank you to everyone for all the support and encouragement, always.

It is officially over - my grade posted today and I am proud to say I pulled it off. :balloons: I earned my A and kept my GPA where it needs to be. My Psych and Spanish 2 class I wasn't too worried about - and of course they were posted a while ago now. The one I was most concerned with was the last one. So - I can now officially breathe and relax until school starts again in June.

Thanks again to everyone that helped encourage and support me through the last few months.

This is it - my final post. I got my grades in the mail today.

I got a 4.0!! After all that I went through at the beginning, and failing the first exam, I pulled some sort of rabbit out of my hat. Don't ask me how, because even figuring my final into the mix, I still only came up with a B+ (which I would have GLADLY taken), and at one point I though *maybe* a 3.67. Never did I imagine a 4.0!

So my GPA remains just that - a 4.0. Now onto Bioethics and Religion this summer, and Micro in the fall. Then it's just nursing courses. Med/Surg nursing next January, and so on.

I'm a happy girl now! :)

I never did any kind of drugs in high school (or after) and I only drink on rare occasions, but I would have to say that getting a 4.0 (which I did, too) has got to be the best HIGH there ever was :balloons: CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done!!! :balloons:

Good luck this summer - check out our Summer Micro board when you start this fall - maybe you can get some good tips :)

WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!! Congrats!!!!

I am Partying with ya!!!!

I finished Microbio with an A on my final (92%) and an A in the Class!!! I am sooo excited!

Phys was pretty good too.... I figure I got a B on my lab final (mostly essay) and I think I got an A on my lecture. It was pretty intense for Finals... both back to back. I am soooo glad that is over!

Tomorrow I find out my overall grade...... pretty sure it will be good. Hoping to have an A in that class too.

Now I finally get to apply to Nursing School!!!
