The 9 prerequisites for ISU

Questions for those who know this school too well; Indiana State University Lpn to BSN bridge program online, the 9 prerequisites, is it possible to clep out and do the excelsior exam for all of it without having to go on class? Is it possible to test out on all 9 prereqs and not having to sit on boring classrooms or expensive online ones? Thank u so

The 9 prerequisite course:

 ENG 101 & 105 or ENG 107 - English Composition (6 credit hours)

 CHEM 100/100Lab –Chemistry (4 credit hours)

 COMM 101 - Intro to Communications or Public Speaking (3 credit hours)

 BIO 231/231Lab & 241/241Lab - Anatomy & Physiology I & II (6 credit hours)

 BIO 274/274Lab - Microbiology (3 credit hours)

 MATH 102 - Quantitative Literacy or College Algebra (3 credit hours)

 PSY 101 - General or Intro Psychology (3 credit hours)

Excelsior is available for MATH 102, PSY 101, BIO 231 and BIO 241, BIO 274, and ENG 101. See http://www.indstate.edu/sites/default/files/media/Documents/PDF/dsst-equivalencies.pdf

So, no, it looks like you will need to take some classes. I suggest you speak with the school to ensure transferability.
