They are are great band.........and ONE of the best bands to come out of OZ........I just LOVED, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1......

There are so many 'older 'groups that have come from herre - ie seekers, Bee Gees (OK they were originally English but got their start her) ACDC, That is onlt a coupld that spring to mind - come on you older generation help me - just cause my dementias kicking in

My kids are into that sort of music - such as powder finger etc - know about Killing Hiedi - kinda of a local band ie Voilet town
My husband and l were just discussing if Cold Chisel actually 'made it'outside of Australia - or would you prefer this discussion to be those who were successful outside of Australia
They were successful here but not really O/S - reecently on payTV they were talking about the record they released following there tour in the US and their first single thereafter -
'You have nothing l want and nothing l need ' - Which in a sense apparently was saying - You know what
Now this is davids thoughts - this is a good discussion - l also remeber when John Farnham was a part of the the Little River Band
Worst still l can remeber - Boobbie and Laurie, Little patti Normeie Rowe (SIGH) OHl must stop - I am real showing my age

Listening to JJJ at the moment -- they have a tribute (2 hrs) to Midnight Oil -- I didn't even realise Peter Garrett had resigned!! Anyway, do you or do you not agree that they are the best band to ever come out of Oz??
