  3. Received these via e-mail today, and thought they were worth posting, even though they're mostly from the UK and the names won't mean anything to most of you... Michael Buerk watching Phillipa Forrester cuddle up to a male astronomer for warmth during BBC1's UK eclipse coverage remarked: "They seem cold out there, they're rubbing each other and he's only come in his shorts." Ken Brown commentating on golfer Nick Faldo and his caddie Fanny Sunneson lining-up shots at the Scottish Open: "Some weeks Nick likes to use Fanny, other weeks he prefers to do it by himself." Mike Hallett discussing missed snooker shots on Sky Sports: "Stephen Hendry jumps on Steve Davis's misses every chance he gets." Jack Burnicle was talking about Colin Edwards' tyre choice on World Superbike racing: "Colin had a hard on in practice earlier, and I bet he wished he had a hard on now." Chris Tarrant discussing the first 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' winner Judith Keppel on This Morning: "She was practising fastest finger first by herself in bed last night." Winning Post's Stewart Machin commentating on jockey Tony McCoy's formidable lead: "Tony has a quick look between his legs and likes what he sees." Ross King discussing relays with champion runner Phil Redmond: "Well Phil, tell us about your amazing third leg." Cricketer Neil Fairbrother hit a single during a Durham v Lancashire match, inspiring Bobby Simpson to observe: "With his lovely soft hands he just tossed it off." Claire Frisby talking about a jumbo hot dog on Look North said: "There's nothing like a big hot sausage inside you on a cold night like this." James Allen interviewing Ralf Schumacher at a Grand Prix, asked: "What does it feel like being rammed up the backside by Barrichello?" Steve Ryder covering the US Masters: "Ballesteros felt much better Today after a 69." The new stand at Doncaster race course took Brough Scott's breath away... "My word," he said. "Look at that magnificent erection." Willie Carson was telling Claire Balding how jockeys prepare for a big race when he said: "They usually have four or five dreams a night about coming from different positions." Carenza Lewis about finding food in the Middle Ages on Time Team Live said: "You'd eat beaver if you could get it." A female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked, "So Bob, where's that eight inches you promised me last night?" US PGA Commentator - "One of the reasons Arnie (Arnold Palmer) is playing so well is that, before each tee shot, his wife takes out his balls and kisses them .... Oh my god!!!!! What have I just said?!!!!" Ted Walsh- Horse Racing Commentator - "This is really a lovely horse. I once rode her mother." New Zealand Rugby Commentator - "Andrew Mehrtens loves it when Daryl Gibson comes inside of him." Pat Glenn- Weightlifting commentator - "And this is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. My friend's husband worries about this Deespoohbear,he's 52 and their son is 8. Her answer is that NONE of us know for sure that we'll be here to see our babies grow up.

You are sweet! No wonder you're tired,Honey, thats quite a brood you've got there! You are NOT old-a family of this size would be hard work for a Mom of any age! Glad Hubbie is fully recovered,he must be quite fit for this question to even be an issue for you;) I have a 6 year gap between my sons, and that felt like starting at the beginning again,so I really admire you with the ages of your children, did your eldest mind a new-born around when he was 15? You've got all the support you need right here, just say the word,I'm sure everybody feels the same! I believe breast feeding would be easier-you could pop the bub on the floor, start feeding, and carrying on making dinner or whatever! good luck, either way and do keep us informed when you can. :kiss

Can't tell if you are joking or not:eek: If you are, will you be pleased? What about Hubbie? Edited to say: please excuse my terrible nosiness! You don't have to reply if you don't want....tell me to shuddup!
  12. Maybe she was saving it for an attack of the munchies later on!
  13. We had this problem with my eldest when he was a baby,my midwife told me to thouroughly wash an orange, pierce it and give him a couple of teaspoons of the fresh juice - wouldn't you know it,he pooped as I was preparing his culinary delight! Wouldn't let it ride too long though, but I'm sure you know that. P.s. Just re-read your first post again,it sounds as if this babe has not b.o since a couple days old-is that right??? Doctors asap! good luck!
  14. Please, please continue to stand up for your patients!!! a nurse gave my first-born a bottle in his first 24 hours(with my husbands permission, not mine-i wasnt asked!and the nurse told my husband and mom, that the baby was "starving".At 9lb2oz and less than 8 hours old I DON'T THINK SO!)I am convinced that this was one of the reasons i was unable to get breast feeding established. i had a big hungry baby, and he learnt fast that it takes no effort to feed from a bottle! It took me 18 months to get over my disappointment(i also had a crash c-section so felt i was a failure in all directions) and even now,9 years to the day(Happy Birthday C.!) i still get the guilts! You sound like a very caring, patient person, and i wish i'd had someone like you to stick up for me back then!!KEEP BATTLING ON!!!!!!
