Hey guys! Just starting a forum because I didn't see one yet. Wanting to keep up with everyone who is applying to Ohio States new CRNA program. Any thoughts?! I just applied for the first round. 

Yes, I did receive an email the other day about a 2nd interview. I'm sorry guys :(

LOL it's OK I was accepted to another program 20 minutes from home. At this point this was an experiment to see what happened LOL

Anyone else interview yet? They are so experienced and were very kind during the interview. Hoping for a yes!

If I could ask, what did your application look like? GPA, science GPA, years of experience, GRE, certifications etc. Was there anything that stood out specifically for them to interview you? I did not receive an interview and am curious what they might be looking for the next go around.

4 years experience. CCRN/SCRN GRE 146 vocab 150 math 4.5 writing. My overall GPA and science GPA are just barely over the minimum requirements, however I took graduate courses with A- average, shadowed 3 times. Basically did extra work above requirements without retaking science courses

I found out about this program recently and was thinking of applying.

Who did you guys use for references, and did you upload transcripts or send them from your school directly to admissions? 
 

Also, do you have to use APA format and references in your essay or is that part optional? Thanks everyone! 🙂

Good Evening, this question wasnt directed to me but I will be attending OSU this fall and I'm more than happy to help answer any questions. The interview and application process was straight forward. Members of the admission committee were extremely friendly and put you at ease before the actual interview. Be yourself and highlight your strengths. Goodluck
