hi! im new here... does anybody know how long would it normally take before they inform you if you pass the medical city exam for staff nurse?

backer system stinks.

It does big time. I wonder why even in private institutions, backer system is still haunting nurses. Tsk tsk. Is TMC still accepting applicants for staff nurse post?

I think its REALLY backer system. Because humility aside, my board rating is super ok and i just finished my 6-month volunteer work and yet im still waiting for them to contact me. :( tsk.

Yes, I think so too.

Though I have no experience I have a high board rating.

But let me share what happened to me:

October 2012: I passed my resume. (I know someone who works there so he passed the resume.)

November: I received their SMS, schedule for the first two exams (I forgot what were the first two, but there are four exams: IQ, English, Personality, Nursing.)

November 2nd week: Took my second set of exams.

-After taking the exams the HR officer told us to wait up to 2 weeks for their text, if we don't receive anything, that means we didn't make it. Actually I forgot if they gave an exact date of when they will contact us.

November last week: Initial Interview. The interviewer told me to wait for them to contact me for the schedule of the final interview, which will "probably" be on December or January.

But I wasn't contacted.

I tried following up my application through telephone but the HR officer (the one who texted us) told me that we do not need to follow up. They will be the ones to contact me once the schedule is set.

But until now, no text/call from them.

So that's my Medical City experience.

I guess having a backer isn't enough: you got to have a STRONG SUPERPOWERFUL backer.

Hi there! Im interested to apply also but I am from Bacolod. I wonder how long the whole process is, so I can prepare my budget going there and for those who have successfully signed the contract, will the salary be sufficient for your personal expenses and rent? TIA

Just had my nursing exam a while ago. They said result will be on Friday so we have to wait for their text/call. Nervous. Only God knows. nXm
