The Medical City

World Philippines

Hi everyone! Just want to ask if there's anyone out there who has an idea if Medical City is currently accepting applicants? Or if their schedule for trainings is ongoing? I wanted to follow up my application there.. I passed the Clinical and Psychological exam last June 2008 but until now I haven't heard anything from them.. I am thinking if I would submit my papers and start all over again or just follow it up..

Thank you in advance for all your replies! :)

@ jasper: are they looking on the school were you have graduated????? or the board rating specifically???

They prioritize those who got 80% and above in regards with their board rating...

thanks for this info. by 2 months bond you mean you'll have to pay them 2 months worth of your proposed salary? or do you have to sign something that says you have to stay with them for two months? thanks, just curious.

if one is already "regularized", how long is your supposed contract with them?

thanks a bunch!

Oh my...did I say 2 months bond? That ought to be 2 YEARS Bond once you get regularized...

well, i must say you really need a "backer" if you want to work in TMC, I've applied several times, poor me i didn't received any text from them. I am a graduate from one of the reputable university here in the Philippines. My board rating is way beyond 80%. But them again after 3 or more times applying there, I did not hear any from them.

do you guys/gals know if they still accept applications for trainees? if you do, up to what month? and if not, when is the next time that it would be open? thanks a lot! :)

i think so,too. i applied for TMC and fortunately received a call after a month, passed the exam and took the psych exam. they didnt call for me an interview after though. But that's okay. Atleast, i tried! :D

congrats, jasper and thankyou for always keeping me posted!

i called them several times to know the standing of my application but they will just ask me to wait for the interview schedule.

who knows TMC will open doors for those who don't have the so called "backers". im still keeping my hopes up! :D

Hi everyone. I just want to share my experience with my application in TMC.

I was able to pass all the exams and the interviews. I have submitted the requirements and have finished with the Medical Examination as well. I am now waiting for the NTAP schedule. Which is kind of a LONG WAIT already. HR initially said that the training will be in JUNE 1. It was pushed through to JULY 1 and have been pushed through again to AUGUST. Up until now, they have not called me yet for the schedule so i guess, again, it will be pushed through to SEPTEMBER.

Anyway, from what I have heard, TMC have been pooling nurses for the past months. And there are a lot of trained nurses who are still waiting for an open position since most senior nurses are stuck with the institution due to retrogression in the states. This is probably the reason why they have stopped training.

Then again, I heard that they have called up another batch to take the initial clinical exam. You guys should try as well. Log on to their application logbook. Maybe one time soon when the retrogression is gone and the Senior nurses have resigned, they'd call everybody for employment. But as for the moment, I guess the only chance to get in is through 2 things. Everyone is right about the 'backers.' It's either that or your grade should not be lower than 80.

Anyway, I hope everything goes well with everyone. GOODLUCK RN's! :)
