If any of you works or knows about this, how much do they pay newly grad RNs? And how does employment application go about? Please share. Thanks! :D

TMC i think accept applicants who doesnt have IVT license yet but it is a requirement to have the PRC licence

are they still accepting nurse applicants? im thinking about passing my reqts again for the 3rd time... coz i wasnt able to receive a response from them...

i passed the exam last june 2008 and im just waiting for the interview. unfortunately my phone got lost, our tel number was changed and i went to the US for 3 mos so i really dont know if they already called me for the interview. can i still followup or did i miss my chance?

Specializes in Ward Nurse and everything in between.

I just passed this june 2009 and i am planning to work in TMC. Are they looking for grads who got 80%+ in their board rating? I got a line of 7 and I was wondering if that would affect me. I really would like to work there.

IMHO a line of 8 grade is really a plus. when i signed in my name thru the initial 'application form' (every applicant signs in there and writes their basic info like name, number school) anyway one of the things you write down there is your board rating. my friends who went with me line of 7's didnt recieved a text from TMC and i got a text only after a week. as for the exam, IHMO it was easy, and thats the part that sucks because it was easy, i was given false-hopes that i would get at least an interview. but then again after the exam, we were asked again to put down our names, contacts etc. AND RECOMMENDATIONS, so simply put. your grade in the NLE and the exam will really not matter unless you got a "big name" backing you up. i guess thats how things go nowadays!:banghead:

TO anansi:

yep, i found this message a lil too late but thanks so much!

and i'm also very pleased to say that i PASSED! yay! :hpygrp:

i got the text message informing me to go back this coming monday

for briefing about requirements and medical exam.

btw, about the 6 nurses you saw, i wasn't probably one of them

as i was the fourth to be interviewed and there were 11 of us

in line. i must've been done by then, but i assume you were there that day right?

the guy who interviewed me asked about cva,

and even if i did not study much about this particular condition

i was thankful to remember quite a lot about it. :D

to those who are subject for FINAL interview,

i suggest they calm down and breathe deep,

it was quite a long and agonizing wait but it's all worth it.

good luck and god bless! ;)

hey!..i just want to ask if you still remember some of the questions in the exam..i just want to know to get some ideas..is there any particular subject that i need to focus on?..how about the computation part and the medicine part can you tell me exactly how they construct the questions?..i just want to know coz it's really hard to review..

Hi everyone. I would just like to hear pieces of advice from experienced nurses. I've recently passed all the exams and interviews from TMC. All I need is the medical/physical exam before I will start training for 1 month. My question is, what can I expect from the training? And anyone here can tell me something about working as a staff nurse in the said hospital? Thanks... This will be my first job (and training) since I only graduated last March 2009. I'm just an excited/anxious fresh RN.

Hi (nursie_ara and elazul):

I need inputs/feedback on the TMC training program please...

I am also scheduled for the medical exam and for training. Are you done with the training? What do I need to prepare for in the training? and post-training do they readily hire us or do we have to wait after that?

Thanks in advance. :-)

@perplexity

Congrats! :) Well, I must ask when did you send in your application? Or did you just leave your number at their logbook at the HR? Must have done that about 2 years ago but my numbers got changed already. :(
