The college network, essentials health safety

Published

HI. I JUST STARTED THE PROGRAM WITH THE COLLEGE NETWORK AND AM STUDYING THE 1ST MODULE. ANYONE WHO HAS ALREADY TAKEN THIS EXAM WITH TCN, CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME IF I CAN PASS THE EXAM WITH AN 'A' BY JUST READING THE MODULE PROVIDED. IF NOT, WHAT OTHER BOOKS WOULD YOU RECOMMEND. :nurse:

THANK YOU.

i started out with just college network module, then got scared and bought the text book one edition behind for about $5 on alibris( don't know if i can say that). The book has important stuff that college network doesn't, even though health safety if pretty basic nursing stuff. Glad i bought the book, the Phipps med-surge book was pretty easy to read, they changed the book for the LS classes, don't know if they changed it for the health safety course. I got straight A's except transitions, got a B. I did use just College network for that one. But for the rest of my courses i will be using the med-surge book, don't really want to short cut on that anyway, med surge is an important subject.

hey everyone. im in the same boat as u guys. paying college network 177 a month. my ques is: am i still going to get my rn if i continue with college network? im still taking the correct exams right, but its through excelsior?

Right. Despite having "college" in the name, haha, The College Network is not a college or degree-granting institution of any kind. TCN is a publisher. If you're doing the ADN RN program (not the BSN through ISU), then yes, the school that actually grants your degree is Excelsior College.
