pearson.
that's the company that does the testing for nclex, plus the book is written very simply and to the point. I used it when I was in nursing school.

In a addition to your text, consider Pathophysiology, A 2-in-1 Reference for Nurses by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. I love this book! Used it many times while in nursing school, and still pull it out when I want to refresh on something I haven't seen in a while. Clear and concise; what you need to know, and what you need to anticipate.
Best Wishes!

There is a new edition out, I have the 2nd ed. It's a green hardcover. Great because it also gives you Dx and TX and nursing assess and management.
