OMG! How sweet. I have shadowed many RN's and LVN's who either appreciated CNA's or hated the mere site of us. Thankyou for your post. When I get my RN, I promise to be the RN to the CNA's that I wanted, uplifting and encouraging.
Don't worry about being "showed up by a CNA" sometimes it just happens, An RN that I work closely with has showed me many things regarding Hospice, the ins and outs (way cool:cool:) and Her and I are a team, I love the fact that she interacts with me and asks me what I think about each patient and listens, dont get me wrong, I get corrected all the time but as time has gone by, my answers to her questions regarding patient care are correct and I get more encouraged to go further. So thankyou for your support. WE CNA's could not do it with out your support!...we heart you!:redbeathe:yeah:
Thank you! It really is grueling work...and it's nice when nurses and nars are able to work together as a team rather than having a huge wall between them just because they have a degree rather than just a cert. We are all there really for the patient. Again, thanks for what you nurses do as well

I just want to say that I am a LPN and could never get my job done with out my CNA's. They help me out so much and I appreciate the work they do because it is hard, back breaking work that deserves more recognition and pay. I could not do a CNAs job as well as them, sometimes I am afraid to help my girls out because they might show me up:lol2: I have even been taught a thing or two from them. So thanks to all the CNA's out there, we could never do it with out you.
