No joke. Seriously! PM for details, but I would bet your letter is on its way if it hasn't already arrived.

the textbooks are included in the $14,000 first and second semester tuition. I was accepted at TCU and TWU and there really is no difference in the tuition with books at TCU ($14,000)versus the Tuition ($11,138) plus books ($2000-2500) at TWU. These schools are basically mirror images of one another except in one aspect: one of the programs is very organized and the other lets you feel out the details on your on. I think you can probably guess which is which :)

Whatis that suppose to mean?

i've heard great things about both schools. Several co-workers went to TWU.

Did not get into TWU last year and did not hit it off with the faculty well,

(Had I been accepted I would have jumped at the spot)

at TCU I really fet comfortable and at ease with the staff I met and the offer was too good for me to pass up.

do you care to elaborate?

I don't have any basis of comparison for TWU, but I have been thrilled with the staff at TCU. They have all been very helpful and easy to get along with. As far as textbooks go, there are plenty of other schools that cost more than TCU and do not offer anything such as that. So, I am excited to have been given a gift like that.

Actually, I was accepted at both schools as well, and I recall the tuition for both schools being exactly the same, something like $44,500 for the whole program. So, I think it is quite a better deal to get books and some housing paid for............Or at least, let me think so, I already spent that money!!!
;)

So, which is which, I hope I picked the organized school.......I think I did, the faculty is great!!! In the end we will all be CRNA's!! In only T-summer-28 months!!!

it means that tcu is the more organized program by far; however, it also means that there really is no big excitement in the fact that tcu includes textbooks in the $14000 tuition when the tuition at twu is $11,138 + 2,000 for books. Just basically pointing out the fact that the schools cost about the same no matter how you slice it, but that one school is far more student friendly than the other.........tcu

by the way.... I am going to twu for conveneince of clinical site, if I lived in Ft. worth or Dallas, it would be tcu hands down...don't tell anyone I said that :)

In making an outside assessment and taking opinions from many friends within both programs Id say they are very similar. After all the same director got both programs where they are now. Not to mention they use many of the same clinical sites. Both are very solid programs all with the ultimate goal of gettting you ready to pass the Cert. Exam.

Doesnt seem that books are free if they are included in your tuition. That means you have to pay interest on the books so actually it may come out to be more in the long run. Also I know for a fact that TCU and TWU require students to buy less books than both the other Tx Programs in Htown. Anyways whether TWU or TCU you cant go wrong, both are solid programs.

I have to agree as well both programs do seem very solid. I was just interested in what Futrgaspsr meant in the earlier statement. I was not sure as to what was meant.
