Hi everyone!
Thought I would start a thread for TWU Spring 2025 semester. How has the process been for you all? Is anyone still finishing up any pre-reqs/studying for the exam?
I'll be applying as a second degree and aiming to have everything sent in by the deadline in August. Later than I would like... but I still need to finish the Microbiology pre-req starting May. I'm also currently studying for the TEAS.

Yes I had seen that too. But I also saw another cohort that got the eligibility email the beginning of October. Then mid October received the decision letters. So I'm not sure now! I hope it's now I don't want to wait that long🥹
Hey everyone,
I called the Dallas campus this morning asking when we could expect eligibility emails, and was initially told that it would be mid to late October. I had to double check if this eligibility email was separate from decisions and the person on the phone claimed that it wasn't, and that we would just get one email regarding our decisions? From the past semesters, I was expecting us to get two separate emails: one for eligibility and one for decision?

I was waitlisted for Fall 2024 but unfortunately didn't make the cut. My experience was that we received an eligibility email and about a week later people started receiving the decision emails. From all the other forums, it is the same process. Last Spring they received the eligibility email Oct 3 and acceptance letters Oct 18.
hi everyone,
I applied to the dallas campus with a 3.8 GPA and a 98 on the TEAS. how competitive would these stats be? I am a bit worried, as I understand many people are applying with 3.9-4.0 gpas. also, does anyone know how heavily considered the essays are?
I would appreciate any input, and good luck to everyone!

Hi erin, I talked to a J2 student at the Houston campus who told me that they look heavily onto GPA and TEAS scores the most. They only consider essays for students that score lower than competitive scores for admission usually, but it is still good to do well on your essays regardless. I believe you will be set for admissions!

Hi Leo! I talked to the nursing department last week and they told me eligibility emails are emails that are only sent to students if their applications were not eligible and that if you have not received one then your application is eligible for consideration. was that how it was for you when you applied in fall?

Last fall I received an eligibility email and someone I know received a non eligible email. But maybe they changed things?
