Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Published

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

It's Hep B titer that we need, not A.

Incorrect. You may not need the Hep A before May 3rd, but you do need it, or the two-dose vaccine.

But we don't "need" it even after the vaccines like Hep B, is what I am trying to sayyy

I have all three.

Hey yall, I've made the decision to drop out of my spot in the program for the Dallas Campus. Hopefully this helps whoever is on the waiting list. Best of luck everyone!!

Hiii did anyone else get in and is going to the orientation tomorrow for the dallas campus?

I just got accepted into the nursing program for the Houston campus! Here are my GPA and testing scores for future applicants.

      GPA: 3.7

      TEAS Cumulative Score: 84.0

         Reading: 82.1

         Math: 94.1

         Science: 75.0

         English/Language: 87.9

I highly recommend finishing all of the science prerequisites before you take the TEAS test (unlike me - live and learn).

And for all those still waiting to hear back if you made it, stay hopeful! I didn't catch the first round of offers, but made the second cut.

I was on the waitlist and received a second wave offer after the Houston Nursing Orientation for the first wave was completed. Not sure if the opening was a result from somebody declining the offer, not showing up for the mandatory orientation, or not meeting deadline requirements. Just grateful I got my foot in the door!!

Someone did decline from what I heard.
