Texas Tech Traditional BSN 2013

Hello Guys!!I just wanted to create a new thread for the 2013 Texas tech BSN program! I will be applying this December (El Paso) campus. Is anyone else?

I am so excited and hopefully in the near future I can meet you all!

I am so nervous....but I am sure most of you all are feeling the same.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Odessa College dorms; if that doesn't work out, i'll have to find an apartment when Orientation comes around :/

I've found an apt my rent will be in the $800's it's all bills paid brand new and it's next to Texas tech Odessa let me kno if ur interested its only for nursing students or med students n medical professionals they only hv 31 units all together fully furnished individual apts/efficiencies with kitchen n full size fridge bed etc

I'm glad to be taking patho at my community college, unfortunately cldnt find intro to nursing at my community college so I had to take it at tech which cost me $995 for tht single 2 hour class!! Ugggh

For anyone thats a nursing student in LUBBOCK here is the following steps

1) sign onto facebook and "like" the Texas Tech Nursing Class of 2015

2) on the comment i posted and go join the closed group page "Texas Tech Nursing Class of 2015"

I have heard several people on a.n. talking about their orientations, and they talk about bringing parents or spouses. Does anyone know if that is happening at our orientation?

Also, somewhere I read that we are supposed to wear 'business casual' to orientation and now I don't see that anywhere. What are you guys planning to wear?

You may have seen the part about business casual for orientation on the FAQ section of the Office of Admissions and Student Affairs. I know that is one place I saw it for sure!

They just sent out emails a day or two ago with more orientation information so maybe check your spam folder. But Abilene's orientation is 8am-5pm, I would assume everyone's is the same or pretty close.

ahhhh I don't have anything new from them in my inbox and spam. :/ Did anyone going to Lubbock get an email?
