Texas Tech Traditional BSN 2013

Hello Guys!!I just wanted to create a new thread for the 2013 Texas tech BSN program! I will be applying this December (El Paso) campus. Is anyone else?

I am so excited and hopefully in the near future I can meet you all!

I am so nervous....but I am sure most of you all are feeling the same.

Did they tell you what number you are on the waitlist?

they said they don't go by "numbers" they just pull

For those looking to register for the Intro to Nursing and Patho classes...I am not sure how it will go for summer enrollment, but I will advise you that those classes for the spring semester filled up FAST! When I went to register, they were all full until they opened additional sections for one and the other I lucked into the fact that someone dropped it and I was able to register. IF you run into them being full, I was advised to check back regularly to see if something opened up. And as far as cost, those two classes cost me about $1700 before books! Not trying to scare anyone, just want you to be prepared b/c I wasn't and I freaked when I could not get into the classes at 1st! Good luck and if you have not already begun the application/registration process, do so NOW & if you have a hold placed on your account that prevents you from registering, it could be b/c they want you to talk to an adviser first! Hope this helps those of you who need these classes!

Also, I took both online and be prepared to READ READ and READ some more when it comes to Patho! It is a super intense course with TONS of material covered in a short time. But, just remember that you all have gotten this far so it should be no problem! :-)

Who did you take for both classes? I register tomorrow and none of the teachers are on ratemyproffessor.com

Let's see if it will let me put names because I have seen on some posts where it blocks the names! For Patho, I have *******and for Intro I have *******. I honestly just got in where I could get in!

There is a tuition grid estimator on Texas Tech University :: Student Business Services :: that may give you an idea. I know those two classes online cost me over $1700 for the spring semester.

Ahhh thanks! I'm trying to get into a Patho class at ACC, but it's already full. I'll still sit on the waitlist lol.
