Hey I was looking for a new thread on the people applying for the Texas Tech 2015 accelerated 2nd degree BSN program, specifically Austin, and couldn't find one so I thought I would start one. All the previous threads have been really helpful. Is there anyone applying for the Austin location?? Anyone already have their CNA or planning on getting it soon??

@merrussell: I am glad you said something so you could call up and get an email! Lots of important information. Good luck!

@mys193: my interview is Friday morning, what about you?

hey guys.. I applied to Austin as first choice but got an interview in Lubbock. I just interviewed today && it was sooooo nerve racking. They are extremely nice and they definitely ask specific to your application so anything can go but its short and sweet. They just want to see if you can handle this program! good Luck!

Hey guys!

I had my interview for Dallas and am still waiting to hear back from them! I thought the interview process was great and was just wondering if anyone has heard anything back yet??

I meant to respond to this! I asked if you were a TTU alum because I am too :) I just graduated this spring!! What about you??

Wreck'em!

I interviewed with Dallas too... I asked them when we will be hearing back and they said the first week if September.

@nurseandmomtobe, I brought a professional-looking notepad thing and a couple copies of my resume, but never used either. They have your resume on-hand during the interview and there is really nothing you need to write down. I wouldn't recommend bringing either; it's just more stuff to hold.

Okay great that is what they told me as well I just wanted to be sure!

For my interview in Dallas, I brought a pad-folio with a head shot and copies of my resume. I wrote down some questions to ask the interviewers and jotted down their answers on the notepad. I think it just makes you look more professional. It also recommends doing that in one of the email attachments they sent (at the bottom of the dress code attachment). Best of luck to everyone on getting in! =)

@seahorse1 I had my interview on thur the 28th at 1pm. It went really well and they seemed to like me and laughed at my jokes *shrugs lol How did yours go?

Any word on when this week we will be hearing something?? Sooooo nervous... Lol!!

@aqua2303 They told me they're having their last and final meeting on September 4th and we should know pretty much right after that!! Hoping for the best! Good luck! :)
