Published

Is it too early to start this thread? I couldn't find another one.

I am planning on applying to the TT 2nd degree BSN program in May in hopes to begin in January 2018.

Anyone else?? Anyone in the program currently or recently have any info to share?? Which location is everyone applying?

Thanks!!

I also got an interview!! Yay! Does anyone have recommendations for the medical terminology certificate/class? I'm hoping for online and cheap :)

des moines medical terminology is what i did!

I used universalclass.com for my medical terminology class. It was $75 and very straightforward. I think there are probably cheaper ones out there.

Anyone apply to the Austin cohort? Haven't received an email for an interview yet, so I am just wondering if they are sending interview invitations by cohorts or if I didn't make the cut?

I applied to dallas as well, and also received an interview invite yesterday! :). Super excited but definitely dreading the drive

I applied for Lubbock, got invitation for an interview yesterday. I still lack patho and am enrolled in a CNA class that starts 8/14.

I applied for the Austin cohort, I got an interview as well! Good luck everyone :)

I also applied to Dallas and have been invited for an interview.

I applied for the Odessa cohort and also have been invited for an interview! Good luck to all!

Heard anything?

Hi, everyone! I applied for the Dallas cohort and was invited for an interview. I'll be interviewing at the RR location on August 23rd.

I have my BA in Biology with a Chemistry minor from North Texas- overall GPA is at a 3.16. I have my BLS cert from AHA & ARC, and am taking the CNA course, patho, medical terminology, nutrition, and human development this Fall. TEAS was 88% overall- 83% reading, 100% math, 80.9% science, 91.7% English/language usage. I have my teaching certifications to teach early childhood-6th grade, ESL, and special education, and have worked for a local district for about two years. I have volunteer experience at Cook Children's and UT Southwestern & I just started at an Emergency Center in downtown FW working as a Patient Services Coordinator.

How is everyone else feeling about things?

Who else has applied for the Dallas cohort?

Good luck to everyone! :-)

Hey Ambernsmall I applied to Dallas and San Antonio

I have my bachelors in Kinesiology and Spanish with minors in Biology and Chemistry from Texas Tech University. I have been certified to be a CNA for about 2 years now and worked at an ICU floor here in Lubbock for about a year and 5 months, I worked for a rehab clinic also for about a month. My TEAS were not the best but i got a 70% English 78% reading 92% Science 100% Math, overall 85%. Im barely about to graduate here in August. I was the Vice President of the Men's Volleyball club here while going to school and working at the hospital. The club allowed me to have a lot of community service hours all over Lubbock. I got an interview also! August 29th in Lubbock

Im extremely nervous that i will not get in because everyone is really qualified to be in the program haha. I also hear that Dallas only has like 15 openings.

Good luck to everyone also!

WE GOT THIS!
