Texas Tech 2nd degree accelerated BSN 2018

Published

Is it too early to start this thread? I couldn't find another one.

I am planning on applying to the TT 2nd degree BSN program in May in hopes to begin in January 2018.

Anyone else?? Anyone in the program currently or recently have any info to share?? Which location is everyone applying?

Thanks!!

Who all applied for Dallas and is headed to Abilene?

There is an Abilene Cohort facebook group "TTU Accelerated BSN 2018 ABILENE" there are a few individuals who applied for Dallas and accepted Abilene they have discussed either commuting or have considered relocating in that group.

Has anybody created a Facebook group for the San Antonio cohort yet?

Is anyone planning to work part time during school? Anyone from last year's program have any insight or advice for working??

I was actually going to wait and see how the program was and then decide if I would be able to nanny or baby sit. That way I am working and still able to study.

Hi! I am currently in the second-degree program in Abilene. I worked the first semester 20 hours a week, and it was doable if you're organized. I also was able to do some homework at my work, which was nice. Now with that said there was no way I could work during the summer session. You have way too many clinical hours and test stacked together.... Let me tell you summer is rough (probably the most stressed I have ever been, plus tears, and wanting to quit the program or scared you're going to fail out) but again, doable!! I think there were a couple of other people in the program that work part-time, but no one works currently. Hope that helps!

has anyone received the email from merlin yet?

I just started one Log into Facebook | Facebook

Hopefully the link works

Accepted into the Amarillo location. I have created a TTU Accelerated BSN FB page. Feel free to search....I figured anyone on here can become part of the group. Just search Texas Tech Accelerated BSN 2018 Cohort

Did anyone get an email saying to set up their TTUHSC email? I did and it's telling me I should have received information regarding my eRaider Activation and TTUHSC email from merlin, but I haven't yet.
