Texas Tech 2nd degree accelerated BSN 2018

Is it too early to start this thread? I couldn't find another one.

I am planning on applying to the TT 2nd degree BSN program in May in hopes to begin in January 2018.

Anyone else?? Anyone in the program currently or recently have any info to share?? Which location is everyone applying?

Do y'all happen to know if, after taking the CNA course, we also have to sit for the state certification exam too? My course doesn't include it, so I wondered if y'all knew if we just needed the COURSE, or both course and certification. Thanks in advance!!

My CNA license is expired, and when I called to ask about it, was told I didn't need to renew because we aren't required to have the license-the main thing is that we have acquired the skills/knowledge from taking the course

Just found out that I was accepted into the Austin program. My acceptance email was sent to the wrong address. I had to call.

No, but I am a Tech alum and still have an TTUHSC working email still and there aren't any new emails.

Has anybody taken an online medical terminology course for a certificate of completion? If so, which website did you go through?

We have until 3pm today to pay your placement fee so they probably won't send out the Merlin emails until after that deadline.
